What is a MAC ban?
A MAC is your computers identity. A MAC ban occurs, sometimes, when another account is blocked on a computer, and you then try to log in with another account. The first account will be IP banned, and the second will be MAC banned. However, there are some exceptions. Due to alot of Singaporeans sharing IP's, when one of them gets IP banned, it causes many other people, on many different computers, to get MAC banned.
What is a False or Misunderstood ban?
A false or misunderstood ban, is when a GM bans you falsely. If you are banned for leaving a stone on your attack key while you watch TV, and you are banned for botting, that would be considered a Misunderstood ban, as most people don't know that it's illegal. There are other cases that could be considered misunderstood. Basically, if you think you have been banned wrongly, as the GM didn't know the circumstances, post a misunderstood appeal. DO NOT POST A MISUNDERSTOOD APPEAL AND SAY YOUR SIBLING WAS PLAYING AND GOT YOU BANNED. If this is the case, you have to get your sibling to make a Real Ban appeal.

A real ban is when you are caught red handed hacking, or doing something to disrupt other players gameplay. If you are finishing Jump Quests in 30 seconds, or hitting 2 billion damage on every monster at the same time, and you get banned, it is a real ban. If this is the case, and you lie and say you didn't hack, chances are you will be permanently banned from the forums. You are lucky we even give you a chance to get unbanned, so make the most of it.
